AFARMADE’s mission is to stimulate the development of the weapon and defence and security material manufacturers’ sector as a whole, and to help defend its specific interests. It therefore deals with any issues which might jeopardise that development, especially those concerning:

• Representing the Companies in the Sector before both the Government and the different official national and international bodies.

• Defending the Industry’s common interests.
  

• Fostering cooperation among different industries.

• Promoting the Spanish Defence and Security Sector.
  

• Producing research, papers and catalogues; organising defence- and security-related conferences and courses of interest.
  

• Developing initiatives aimed at providing a positive image of the Sector.
