AFARMADE is the Spanish Association of Weapon and Defence and Security Material Manufacturers. It is defined as a professional, private, non-profit-making, nationwide business organisation that can operate both at home and abroad.

AFARMADE has its own legal status, independent from that of its members, and has full operational capacity to reach its aims. It is empowered to hold all manner of rights and obligations and generally carry out the necessary steps to achieve its objectives.
